This case involves a conviction for burglary contrary to sec. 943.10 (1) (a), Stats. In the early afternoon of November 27, 1969, Benjamin Radcliffe and his wife, Dorothy, left their home on North 80th Street in the city of Milwaukee. When they were returning home at about 6 p. m. they turned onto North 80th Street and as they approached their residence a man and a woman crossed the street about 15 feet in front of the car and within the beam of their car headlights. When they arrived home, the Radcliffes discovered that their home had been burglarized. A neighbor, Paul Thorgaard, indicated to the Radcliffes that he had seen the couple that had crossed the street and that they had left the Radcliffes home moments earlier.
